In your eyes
i saw the changing colors of the sea
(I should rather be seeing them now)
How I wish I could choose between Heaven and Hell / How I wish I would save my soul./ I'm so cold from fear.
What is happiness? How does one consider himself happy? And why the constant search for something we do not know what is?
Don't my kisses please u right
U were so hard 2 find
The beautiful ones, they hurt u everytime
Paint a perfect picture
Bring 2 life a vision in one's mind
The beautiful ones
Always smash the picture
Always everytime
We would challenge each other. Every. Single. Time.
To be the best version of ourselves. To step up to others. To feel confident in what we were.
At least, you challenged me, and I was every time pumped up to improve. At work, at life at Love. Dressing better, reading more, discovering beyond.
And yet, today, I am alone on the hotel room, wishing you'd be here. I did not step up to the magnificent challenge you offerred - making you happy and whole.
If I did not do it, would I have done it? Will never know. And therefore, I deserve missing you. Not missing - suffering your absence. (It's a lovely hotel room. It was an amazing pizza, and we could have seen the sunset together, in a Porto you most likely did not get to know)
You're just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
I want you to notice,
When I'm not around.
I am the bastard, the devil, the worthless guy that screws up.
I still listen to them, and I feel lousy.
"Have you got any soul?" a woman asks the next afternoon. That depends, I feel like saying; some days yes, some days no. A few days ago I was right out; now I've got loads, too much, more than I can handle. I wish I could spread it a bit more evenly, I want to tell her, get a better balance, but I can't seem to get it sorted. I can see she wouldn't be interested in my internal stock control problems though, so I simply point to where I keep the soul I have, right by the exit, just next to the blues.
The days that were lovely.
Can't count the ones where I dreamed I looked at you in the morning and everything was suddenly alright.
You show up in my dream, and speak so brightly and clearly, move so confidently and intently, whisper words I long for, allow the rapprochement I crave that when I am rudely awaken by the alarm clock, I want to destroy it.
I haven't had a glimpse at reality with you in a long time, and yet, it got quickly stolen by the morning.
You were here, for a brief moment, in this lonely hotel room, I am sure of it. And now, don't want to leave. You were about to surrender, to forgive, to say "everything is going to be ok".
How do I miss your kindness, your sweetness, your Love.
The sorrow. The omnipresent agony and ache. Self-inflicted, but that ended up hurting you.
There is a reason, however, there never was a purpose. Rather, you would have given me purpose. And more times that I could count, gave me purpose. Whenever I had to brace myself, step up, challenge for the better, I did it confidently. I know you had open arms, an open smile, a word of encouragement.
Whilst I, what did I give you but pain and sorrow?
At least, I hope it now fully transferred upon me. I'll suffer for both of us so you can enjoy life.
